San Jose Taiko
San Jose Taiko has mesmerized audiences and critics alike with the powerful and spellbinding sounds of the taiko drums. Inspired by traditional Japanese drumming, company performers express the beauty and harmony of the human spirit. Through their study of both traditional and contemporary dance with leading international choreographers, the company’s performances have developed into fully choreographed, theatrically-lit extravaganzas of musical sound.
