Fortunate Wilderness: The Wolf and Moose Study of Isle Royale
Anchored in the Northwest depths of Lake Superior is one of America’s last remaining wild places, Isle Royale. Fifty-six miles of inhospitable waters isolates the island from the Michigan mainland, insulating the island against unwanted visitors, both human and natural. Explore Isle Royale with Rolf Peterson and his colleague, John Vucetich, throughout the seasons and years as they embrace this fortunate wilderness. This film was shot and directed by George Desort.
